Set in 1972, I Know the Way Home is the story of Agnes and Honey, two fourteen-year-old girls who were born and raised in a religious commune in upstate New York. When Agnes’s grandmother Nana Pete comes to visit and bears witness to a horrific act of violence, the girls finally have the chance to escape into society. Through their journey through a world they never knew existed, the girls learn the true meaning of faith, friendship, and family.
